How i can rescan all HBA and VMFS for a Cluster?

When you have to do that on a single host, you need to select your Esxi, go to Configuration tab, Storage and then click on Rescan All.image-01

This popup will appears asking you if you want to scan for new Storage Device or new VMFS volumes.

You can see in Recent task the job running.

When you have several Esxi in a Cluster, there’s a much more fast way: PowerCli!

This command allow you to rescan Hba.

Get-Cluster "ClusterName" | Get-VMHost | Get-VMHostStorage -RescanAllHba

This command allow you to rescan VMFS

Get-Cluster cluster-F02 | Get-VMHost | Get-VMHostStorage -RescanVmfs

In Recent Task you can see all refresh are done
